Dominique Stafford is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Austin office. She has experience in a variety of areas including insurance defense, general liability litigation, intellectual property litigation, real estate transactions, general civil litigation, family law, and business law.
Prior to joining Walker Bright, PC, Ms. Stafford worked as an Associate Attorney with Reed & Scardino LLP representing plaintiffs in Federal Court involving complex intellectual property litigation covering a wide variety of technologies. Ms. Stafford’s primary focus was on high technology patent litigation, with a particular emphasis on hardware, software, networking technology, and telecommunications. Ms. Stafford has represented a corporation in a multiple defendant infringement action to enforce a telecommunications patent portfolio, securing tens of millions of dollars in settlements and judgment for the client.
In law school, Ms. Stafford was actively involved in the Community Development Law Clinic at Syracuse University College of Law representing not-for-profit organizations involved in improving low income communities and helping low and moderate income individuals start businesses. Ms. Stafford was also Director of the Communications Law and Policy Society’s yearly symposium at Syracuse.
